Roxanne : Good morning class, I have a special surprise for you all. Later today, the champion is coming here to help you practice battling.
The class cheers with excitement and anticipation.
Roxanne is the Rustboro City gym leader and teaches the beginner's course at the Trainer School, she is also the girlfriend of the current Hoenn champion [Y/N].
She smiles.
They're so excited, I'm honestly a bit excited myself. I haven't seen my boyfriend in person for a while, and I can't wait to hold him in my arms and cuddle.
Roxanne snaps out of her thoughts and begins passing out worksheets.
Roxanne : Ok class, pull out your textbooks and start working on the assignment I just gave you. If you finish your work and behave yourselves, then you will be allowed to have a 1vs1 battle with the champion.
The class cheer and quickly get started on their assignment.
Roxanne : If you need any help, just come ask me.
She sits down at her desk and sighs happily.
Oh [Y/N], I love you so much.
Later that day, the whole class finished their work and are eagerly waiting for the champion to arrive.

She hangs up and turns to her class with a wide smile.
Roxanne : He will be here in a few minutes, so let's head to the gym and wait for him there.

She leads her class to the Rustburo gym, and sees that [Y/N] is already there waiting.
He walks up to Roxanne and kisses her.
[Y/N] : Hello beautiful, I've missed you.
Roxanne blushes, causing her students to giggle.
[Y/N] turns to her class and smiles.
[Y/N] : So, are you guys ready for some battling?
The students nod excitedly.
Roxanne whispers into [Y/N]'s ear.
Roxanne : Remember sweetheart, they're just beginners, so please go easy on them.
He nods and kisses her forehead, making her flustered.
[Y/N] : Don't worry babe, I won't overdo it.
Roxanne composes herself and looks at her students.
Roxanne : Ok. Billy, you may go first.
Billy : Awesome. Go, Linoone!
[Y/N] : Solrock, come on out and use Psywave.
Solrock hits Linoone.
Billy : Linoone use Dig!
Linoone digs underground and tries to hit Solrock, but misses.
Billy : What?
[Y/N] : Solrock has the Levitate ability, making it immune to ground type moves.
Billy : Oh, ok. Use Fury Swipes.
It does little damage to Solrock.
Billy : Oh, Solrock must be a rock type.
[Y/N] : Yep. Now, use Fire Spin.
Solrock knocks Linoone out.
[Y/N] returns Solrock.
[Y/N] : You did a great job Billy. Now who's next?
Roxanne : Your turn Rose.
Rose : Yes ma'am. Go, Beautifly!
[Y/N] : Let's go, Dusclops!
Rose : Use Stun Spore!
Dusclops is paralyzed.
[Y/N] : Statis effects huh, two can play at that game. Use Will-O-Wisp!
Beautifly is burned.
Rose : Oh no. Use Silver Wind!
Beautifly hits Dusclops.
[Y/N] : Use Shadow Punch!
Dusclops is too paralyzed to move.
Crap!
Rose : Use Air Cutter!
Dusclops is hit.
[Y/N] : Use Shadow Punch again!
Beautiful is hit, and is knocked out because of the burn.
[Y/N] : Return Dusclops. That was a good battle Rose, you've trained your Beautifly quite well.
Rose : Thank you Mr. Champion.
[Y/N] chuckles and gets ready for the next battle.
It's the end of the school day and all the students get to battle [Y/N], but he wins every time.
[Y/N] : You all did very well today. If you keep studying and train with your pokémon some more, then I have no doubt that each and every one of you will make excellent trainers.
The students all thank him and go back to the classroom and wait for their parents to arrive.
Roxanne : You can stay here at the gym [Y/N], I'll be right back after their parents pick them up.
She kisses him and leaves.
[Y/N] sits on the bleachers and sighs.
What a day. Those kids are pretty good for beginners, but that's not surprising since Roxanne is such a great teacher. I missed her so much, being the champion makes it hard to have any free time.
Roxanne eventually returns and sits down next to him, immediately wrapping her arms around him.
Roxanne : I'm so happy to finally have you to myself [Y/N].
[Y/N] : I know babe, which is why I'm sure you'll be happy to hear that I'm taking a break from battling for a while.
Roxanne looks at him with surprise.
Roxanne : What?! You're taking a break?!
[Y/N] : Yep. Sceptile, Hariyama, Pelipper, Manectric, Dusclops, and Solrock are all getting a bit fatigued from the constant champion matches lately. I asked Steven to take over for me while my team takes a rest, plus I have more time to spend with you now.
Roxanne pulls her boyfriend in for a tight hug.
Roxanne : That makes me so happy. I will make sure you and your team get all the rest and relaxation you deserve. I love you [Y/N].
[Y/N] : I love you too Roxanne.
He and Roxanne share a passionate kiss.
Roxanne : Let's go to the Pokémon Center and get your team healed up. After that, you can come to my house so we can cuddle and read together.
[Y/N] smiles.
She and [Y/N] walk to the Pokémon Center hand in hand, both happy to be spending time with the person they love after being apart for so long.
